|  Forrest Griffin Vs. Rashad Evans
The ultimate fighter 1 champion Forrest Griffin vs. The Ultimate Fighter 2 champion Rashad Evans.
I think Forrest has better stand up and better submissions but Rashad Evans has way better takedowns and iis dangerous standing up as well. I can see this fight happening if Forrest loses to Shogun. what are your thoughts on this fight it sounds like a fight of the year candidate to me  |

Even though Forrest stuffed a lot of Tito's takedowns, Rashad would take him down and pound him out for a victory.

Sometimes people over look how good of skills Forrest has. Forrest lost to Severn his first pro fight at hw, and didnt get finished and Severn is a good wreslter too and stoped his takedowns.
He beat Monson at HW.
Now with Forrest Training with Randy his ground game and take down d has gotten alot better.
I am not saying Forrest is going to be champ but he beats Rashad in a Split Dec.

im gona take forrest in this one. his standup is better than rashads and now that hes training with couture i think he will be able to beat rashad and others of rashads talent, such as tito ortiz.

But yea, I think Forrest is a good fighter and would have a desent chance in this fight, but you have to favor Rashad, IMO.

I think why people overlook Griffins skills is because, he got knocked out by Horn, Jardine, and is a sloppy fighter
I dont think Forrests standup is better then Rashads at all, and his wrestling certainly isnt.. what advantage does he really have? strength? speed? I dont see it.. Rashad has beaten better, hes got a better skillset, and he would most likely TKO Griffin.

agree rashad's standup is better and has great wrestling. forrest is agressive and has a lot of heart. he may not be the best but u gotta respect him for what he does and has the ballz.
