last time they faught was in early 02...almost 5 years ago....and josh was on riods...

now randys striking is better than barnetts imo and josh wont be on riods and couture will dominate the clinch game jsut like agaisnt gg...

Agreed. Also, with his recent comments, there could be a chance he'd take Couture lightly to some degree. Couture would pin him against the cage, and try to control the fight just like he did with Gonzaga. Barnett could definitely beat Couture, but I would hate to see it happen.

Don't forget he was in total control of the first fight until he made a mistake when Josh grabbed his leg and got put in a bad spot and finished. But he for sure has the ability to beat Barnett.

I stopped counting him out after he beat up chuck and tito. In fact being a liddell fan i was really nervous about their second fight but randy fought a stupid fight and got laid out. I know I was certainly routing for him against Tim but was unsure if he could keep him down once he got him there....who wouldve thought he'd just dominate on the feet?

As far as Josh Barnett goes even if he beat randy again it doesnt change the fact hes a douchebag. What kind of idiot claims or implies they are HW champ until someone beats them and yet he hasnt had a UFC fight in over 5 years. JB could certainly win but id say randy is in better shape and it would be nice for him to avenge a loss. I think at this point of his career randy just finds a way to win regardless of him being the smaller wrestler with less sub skills. Ive never been overly impressed by Joshs standup either.

Going with Couture on this look at Timmy on Roids and Timmy now big difference and I think the same of Josh If he camt to the UFC and got off them.
