I think this is a fight we will eventually get to see in the coming years, I hope anyway. So who takes it?

Can see Serra knockin Sherk out
Can see Serra doin somethin off his back being that he has superior BJJ skills
Can see Sherk having a more difficult time with Serra being that he'll be facing a guy at LW for once that is very strong
Serra has the standup edge, and the BJJ edge but style-wise.. Sherk wins another boring decision barring he doesnt get KTFO.

Thats what I was thinking too except I don't think Sherk would get sub'd. His roided up cardio and strength would probably lead to a lay'n'pray decision.

To close to call at LW.
Sherk has never seen anyone with Serra's level of BJJ.
Serra has never (has not fought Hughes yet) with Sherks level of wrestling.
I think it would all come down to if Sherk left too many openings.
Serra mostlikey wins a decision because he will appear to be the busier fighter on the ground.

Guys this would be a boring 5 round nothing affair . sherk would just lie on him for 5 rounds stuffing submishon attempts left right and centre, you make out that serra is some awsome striker because he got a flukey punch on GSP . No Way is serra going to beat matt hughes so he probaly will move down and get shown that he dosent belong in the same leauge as those Guys mentioned above . (End of rant)

Serra's BJJ and wrestling is without a doubt better then Franca's, but I still see Sherk winning a boring decision. He won't be able to pass Serra's gaurd as easily as he did Franca's though, and serra would hurt him on the feet and maybe stuff some takedowns

I disagree I think Serra has seen people with Matts level of Wrestling you must remember he did fight ADCC and almost won.
