I like Sheilds, but he is not Matt Serra... Sheilds has better wrestling and that is about it.

Serra has much better BJJ and is probably better striker. I don't think he could finish Jake, but he can control the fight throughout...

Serra by decision.

Serra has KO power and good BJJ, but Shields has better wrestling.

i think Serra would win by KO, because people take his standup lightly. they think the GSP win was a fluke, and while i dunno if he could do it again, he earned that win. he timed GSP perfectly, and laid him out for it, and Shields isn't even close to GSPs level standing.

im pretty sure it would be a very competitive fight, with a lot of technical grappling.

Don't forget that Serra KOd Karo also. The fight didn't get stopped, and Karo got his shit back together and did a hell of a job afterwards, but Serra fucking Kod him.
