| Rich Franklin vs. GSP at (you guessed it) 185 lbs.
I think GSP takes a page from Silva, learns some Muay Thai and KO's Franklin via strikes. This isn't likely to happen, but hey, it's a 'dream' match.

GSP takes this. This isn't as close as GSP vs Silva, and I think GSP has the edge in striking, speed, conditioning- yes, I said conditioning- and even wrestling ability. Franklin might be stronger but I think GSP has better control on the ground and better submissions. GSP wins by RnC in rnd 3.

I'll take Franklin he's got KO power and he's a great all around fighter. GSP is nice, but I think a lot of people are overrating him when it comes to moving up to 185, I'm still not sold GSP will be as great as he is when the size and strength advantage isn't there.

I'm gonna say GSP because I want to see Dork's reaction.

Ace
i see GSP shooting from the bell, getting absolutely physically manhandled and thrown around, until he gets knocked out.
wrestling isnt Franklin's A game, and he did take Koscheck down repeatedly. but a 30lb weight advantage and a 2-3 inch height advantage normally negates shit like that.
GSP is a great WW. has the tools to get the belt and become the undisputed number 1 again. but he has holes in his game, and he is also not a MW.
Ace has holes in his game, and is not a top 5 MW IMO, but he is a massive MW that can throw GSP around.
no matter who GSP trains with, its hard to get ready to go from the biggest guy in the division, to one of the smallest.
Ace already has the toolset to beat GSP. heavy hands, decent boxing, and good takedown defense.

Franklin is going to manhandle GSP. Okami is going to manhandle GSP. I think Mike Swick will whoop GSP. Even Chris Leben will fuck GSP's world up. Guess what all at 185. GSP loses his size advantage thats hes having in WW. Hes going to get manhandled at MW where everyone is bigger than him and with more power.

Also i think GSP would have a hard time taking Rich down.

It's a very even fight GSP is more atheletic and franklin is bigger and sronger. i think in ten fights it would be a 5-5 matchup. Damn that would be a kick ass fight either way.
