|  Thiago Alves vs Karo Parisyan
both guys won on 78 against tough guys. Thiago's fight wasnt as controlling and one sided, but i think Chris Lytle is a little better than Chonan, IMO. definitely harder to finish, and Thiago is only the 2nd to do it in the UFC
i see Thiago taking Karo out.
his Muay Thai is just punishing, and hes real athletic. he has a really good sprawl, and Karo's wrestling is ok, while Thiago made a much better wrestler in Tony DeSouza look like his bitch. i dont know how good his judo and greco is, but as a Muay Thai guy, he has his own tools in the clinch. and Karo still is only ok standing up.
and i dont think Karo could sub him, even if he managed to hit a throw and get Thiago on his back. i see Thiago outhustling him and forcing his way out, and doing work standing up until a big shot.

Fitch finished Thiago, never mind Fitch is better then Karo lol.
Standing Karo gets knocked out an finished, on the ground Karo takes it, but he as to get it there.

yeah i do agree. while i think Karo is a little overrated, especially in his own head, and that he lacks finishing skills, i've been entertained by all the fights i've seen him in.
