| Shamrock vs Shamrock
I know this has been discussed before but I didn't find an actual poll. Also after watching this weeks inside MMA and hearing Frank talk about the possibility of the fight I really think that it could happen. So who wins it and how?
I got Ken by sub.

Not a fan of either, but if Im being honest....it'd be quick. Frankie by referee stoppage. Savage beating.

in their primes it would be the worst mauling seen in mixedmartial arts. A prime ken shamrock had 40-50 pounds on Frank and his strengths play right into Franks weakness.
Ken by three round mauling, maybe a stoppage due to GnP or a cut

In there primes Ken had way too much strength and power over Frank, Frank would never be able to take Ken down and would get beat.. P4P of course Frank is better though

Frank would win, prime or not.
What people don't understand is that Ken Shamrock was never really that good of a fighter. His standup was always lacking, his wrestling let something to be desired, and his BJJ was OK at best.
He couldn't even GNP, sub, or control Royce Gracie even in the stand up game. Ken never improved at anything!
Most old school fans should know this, but Frank left the lions den because he wasn't learning anything. He join TK and Maurice and ever since has been getting better and better, surpassing Ken Shamrocks skill set by leaps and bounds. Frank Shamrock doesn't lose anymore. He hasn't lost in years, and has had great competition in the past.
IMO, Ken Shamrock could have never even beaten Tito Ortiz, let alot Frank! Frank standup is world class, his BJJ is one of the best, his wrestling, not so much, but good enough.
Frank by KO rd 1

Frank by KO rd 1 | I love how your post has absolutely nothing to do with the actual fight, you cant just rant on and on about how Ken was never that good and use that as a valid reason for why a guy who was 220+ in his prime would lose to a guy who was 185 in his prime.

I just don't think Ken could successfully GNP Frank, let alone sub him. I think Frank would destroy him standing up, so I don't see any way Ken could win, weight advantage or not. JMO
