Very hard fight to call when talking about now. I would have to say Saku now and prime. I just think his wrestling and ground game is too much. I think Saku's stand up is even better but Okami would be more comfortable with the fight being taken to the ground, and Saku wouldn't say no.

I think Sakuraba eeks out a decision. Okami is huge and has a very solid ground game. Assuming Okami doesn't sit on his ass for two rounds like he did Franklin he could make this into a very close match.

Sakuraba in his prime would probably kill Okami. His catch wrestling is great and he would probably sub Okami. Sure, Okami's a lot bigger but Saku's made his bones fighting guys who are a lot bigger than him (his first UFC fight is a great example). These days Sakuraba isn't the same guy he was back then and has a lot of injuries but I still think he'd sub Okami, or at least win a decision.

right now, Sakuraba won't stand a chance. Okami is just too powerful. In their primes, i can see Sakuraba winning by decision.

in his prime, Sakuraba would have subbed him
Okami has good wrestling, good GnP, and is massive for the weight. his sub game is pretty good too, but Sakuraba tapped Renzo, and outworked tons of LHWs on the mat
and the slow pace and love tap GnP that Okami normally starts off with in the first few rounds would get him tapped against someone as innovative and skilled on the ground as Sakuraba.
but nowadays? Okami would beat him easily, and it's sad for me to ahve to say that.
