i dont think din can bang with huerta on the feet...and din doesnt have insane wrestling or anything...i got huerta by tko...huerta can survive and scramble on the floor with din, but imo din cant handle huerta on the feet..

i agree
if Huerta tried that wild, wide-open style with Din Thomas he would get fucked up
and hes better on the mat. i think Din was landing more consistently and timing Kenny Florian on the feet, the dude has some good boxing.

Like with Clay Guida.. Din Thomas is kind of the next step for Huerta..
I think this would be a tough fight for Huerta, but he would take it.
Unlike those who mentioned it above, I don't think either side is going to be landing shots at will and it would be a close fight..
Huerta might be able to outwrestle Din, but Din could sub him all the same (then again, Huerta has never been sub'd, so who knows)..
Considering Huerta is a Rear Naked Choke master (just kidding, but oddly enough, 4/4 Submissions victories are via RNC) and that is all Din has ever been submitted by...
I have Huerta via RNC

I didn't think Huerta was a wild striker til the 3rd when he knew he needed a KO and that his boxing was much better than Guida's.

I think Din has the advantage anywhere this fight goes...
Quicker, Technically Better, Better ground game imo....more experience...

I'd say Din takes this one... he's way more technical both standing and on the ground. Huerta has power but he's too wild... I see his main fortes being wrestling and tenacity but I'd say 7/10 times Din takes it. Only (and hopefully) time will tell though.
