I know I would get flamed for this but I say Filho would win. Even though this fight will never happen because they are friends, if it did Filho would take him down, (Silva is not a great wrestler) and submit him.

These are 2 of the 3 best 185ers in the world. Tough call, but I'd go with Anderson.

Filho has good wrestling, but not "great'. Sonnen schooled him until that submission.

A year ago I would have said Filho would have man handled Silva, but now I think SIlva is completely on top of his game and Filho hasn't looked too hot against two unranked fighters.

If Silva can find a way to keep it standing he will take it no problem, but if Filho takes it to the ground then it would only be a matter of time before he pulls off a sub on Silva.

I wasn't saying Filho was a great wrestler, he's not, my point was Anderson isn't as good as Sonnen. I think if Lutter tooled him on the ground when he could barely breath that Filho would do better if he got him there. If Anderson could keep it standing he would win easily.

Anderson would whoop Filho's ass so bad that even his Tyson tattoo would get knocked out.


Filho has almost no game standing up, and slow predictable shots as of late in the WEC. he has none of the same explosive roid strength, and thus has a harder time finishing his shot and getting that takedown.
