i would go as far as saying that timmay could not knock out the giant unless he was using a weapon. he was unstoppable in his heyday.

I can't imagine how much strength the man had though, he got arrested when 4 men were giving him trouble in a bar. He chased them out and they took off and got into there car. Andre flipped it over with all inside, Now I know timmay knows his stuff, but I am thinking If Andre grabs him, he is all done

***I'm pulling this largely from memory from a biography I read a long time ago.
Andre The Giant ..... my namesake.... was freakishly strong due to Acromegaly -- a condition that causes the pituitary gland to produce excessive amounts of growth hormone and that causes bones to grow abnormally large in adults.
His frontal cranium bone alone was estimated to be 3 times as thick as the normal adult male. Aside from being able to flip over fully loaded cars, I doubt he would have had any problems causing people brain damage with headbutts.
The man was 7 feet tall and 350 lbs by the time he was 11 years old, where I believe he competed in greco roman wrestling in France.
If his disease hadn't killed him, theres still no way he could have competed in MMA as he had poor agility and speed due to his size and weight.
Hypothetically speaking ... since this a dream matchup section, I'd say if Andre` had ever goten a hold of Timmay ... with bad intentions, he would have crushed his skull into dust. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. | I am going to agree fully with you. I was just looking up some things on him and Hogan and Macho both said that his strength was like nothing they had felt or seen before. Hogan also made the point that they would always have to remind Andre not to go full speed in fear of being hurt from his power. Now this is just something from memory, but I believe he never lifted a weight in his life and Hogan use to bust his balls all the time. Andre was bullshit once and took what was on the bar and i think it was like 450lbs and just kept doing it over and over and over. Would love to know what he really could of put up.
