Asa much as I like the Big Dog, right now no one is beating Silva. He is at the top of the MMA game and we'll see that against Hendo on the 1st. Almeida has been KO'd before and against a guy who didn't strike like Silva. Could Ricardo catch him in a submission, sure, but I don't see that happening. But I do think that we will see this fight sooner rather then later.

Don't count Almeida out, he could sub Silva with his eyes closed. He isn't a Travis Lutter on the ground, he is on a whole different level. Anderson is going to learn how to sprawl and stop throwing jumping kicks now that the division has Almeida, Maia, Lister, and Thales Leites. He has tasted the lower level black belts ground game in the UFC (marquardt, Lutter) but when he has to fight one of the 4 I mentioned he would get tooled on the ground. Sure you have to go with him now becuase Almeida's only fight in four years has been to a can, but don't count him out. Anderson is not a Fedor of the middleweight division, he has more holes in his game then a peice of swiss cheese.

Cachorrao is tough, but he has weak wrestling, and i think Silva could sprawl on him and shut him down.
he would get knocked the hell out standing up.

you guys who keep saying anderson submission defense is suspect or that if he faces a higher bjj lack belt he would get submitted is ludricous u forget he trains w/ the best bjj practitioner in the planet in minotauro nogeira so it wont be nowhere as easy so almeida really does`nt stand much of a chance as for him and hendo well i still think hendo will take it in the third rd.

i cant see Almeida taking Anderson down or pulling guard.
Silva via TKO round 1

he has way better takedowns than lutter and lutter took silva down twice in the 1st round...and had like a 50% td percantage
not to mention...one of his takedowns was off of a really poor shot.
