Default Babalu vs Rashad Evans
Guys I think it is time for the UFC to make Evans fight someone who stands a chance at beating him and I think Bablu is that guy. Bablu has fought some very good wrestlers before (Mike Van Arsdale) and dominated them. I think that if Evans can get by a guy like Bablu then he should be considered for a title fight down the road, but not until that time. I do think that Bablu would choke him out, what do you all think?

i would go with Babalu right now.

i would like to see Rashad fight again before he goes against someone ranked so high on the LHW top 10. Rashad just switched camps, and i dont think he has enough experience rolling with good submission guys to go against Babalu quite yet

To say that Evans isn't ready for someone in the top ten, then what is your explanation. In the UFC right now Evans is already in the top five, who else is there. He beat Bonnar handily, Jardine isn't in his class, Forrest will get the first title fight after Tito, so who else is there? Babalu is the most logical candidate and I thik it would be great for Evans, I don't think he would try to roll with Babalu, so he would have to out strike him. I guess if you could get Jeremy Horn to come around then maybe Horm vs evans would be appropriate, but I think that Bablu would be the best matchup to see where Evans is currently at.

it would be a great fight, and i would like to watch it, but before i could say who won, i want to see another fight against someone with solid jiu jitsu so i can gauge if he is ready for someone of Babalu's caliber


the matchup makes sense, but the UFC can't risk a loss for Rashad, but they may be building him up for a title shot soon, so they may do the same thing they did for Swick by putting him against a real contender in Babalu

Very Very Quick. Babalu's sub game is one of the best in the Business Rashad would'nt be undefeated long if this one happened

I don't think Rashad's sub defence is good enough to hold Babalu off for 3 full rounds.
