Default Lesnar vs. Gonzaga

Who would you have if they fought? I think at this time in their careers Gonzaga has a huge chance of punching out or submitting Lesnar...

I think Gonzaga can take him right now. hey duskseyr you better not leave the forums. remember there's a gang of hypocrites on these forums and their opinions in no way reflect those of every member. Seems to me like you're a nice, easy going guy.

Here's the thing.

People will bring up that Frank Mir fight over and over - Because of the huge threat Gonzaga is on the ground, and because it very well could play out that way.

But...Frank Mir can take a punch better than Gonzaga. Granted, I think people COMPLETELY over exagerrated that barrage by Lesnar on Mir (come on, people - hammer punches, none of which I thought did a tremendous amount of damage), Gonzaga could get caught and punched out.

Until Napao gets his stand up together, and shows me some conditioning, I'll have Lesnar eeking this one out by ground and pound.

And that sucks to say, hmph.

I don't think Gonzaga handles strikes very well. Randy took it to him and he seemed like a man lost. Werdum stepped it up and overwhelmed him. If Lesnar goes full barrel at him I think he'll fold. Too much speed and power.

That's funny, because I was about to say until Lesnar get's his ground game together I see him getting submitted very fast.

I don't see Lesnar GnPing a Black Belt World champ that is close to the same size as he is.

and Lol at comparing Werdume and Couture's stand up to Lesnars... fucking hilarious.

Lesnar outweighs Gonzaga by nearly 20lbs and his fighting weight could easily outweigh Gonzaga by near 30lbs.

Gonzaga wont outwrestle Lesnar either. Unless Gonzaga gets him early, I see Lesnar taking him down and ground and pound like he did with Herring.
