|  Bill Goldberg vs. Kurt Angle
I mean both guys are hella old to start MMA and competing at the top level. Both are highly interested in the sport of MMA. I mean if someone actually talked to Goldberg about it, I know Goldberg has a Muay Thai background, Angle has a wrestling background. I honestly believe if the two were to be matched up, it would not only make for good numbers, but also be interesting to see.
I know Angle just wants ONE fight, but seriously against who??? are they gonna give him someone like Ken Shamrock? or someone like Eddie Sanchez??? I would make Bill Goldberg vs Kurt Angle as both of their first and hopefully their last MMA fight.

Ummmm lets see... Kurt Angle one of the best American Wrestlers in history or Goldberg an Altana Falcons reject. Yea if all else fails at least Angle will be able to lay on him through the fight.

I heard quite often that Goldberg is meant to have a martial arts background, but from seeing the few kicks he threw as a pro wrestler - I think its more a case of WCW/WWE making Bill out to be more than he really is.
For instance there was a story of a backstage fight between Goldberg and Chris Jericho and by all acounts Y2J handled him pretty easy into a submission.

ha, i heard the same thing. it seems the much smaller jericho kicked his ass backstage. i guess it's the hockey brawler in him...

angle by easy sub btw | I don't think hockey brawling had a whole lot to it, probably more with him having trained in catch wrestling before, which is also the style josh barnett and kazushi Sakuraba are trained in. No, I am obviously not saying jericho has the same catch wrestling as those two fighters.
