Just wondering who yall would think would come out victorious. What would the strengths and weaknesses be for each fighter?

both great fighters,but anderson's striking wont put away liddell.liddell by tko.i think this fight would be like liddell vs. horn imo

Yeah I forgot to say my pick. Mine was Liddell. I just thnk that Chucks size and power would eventually overwhelm A Silva in this fight.

Nice matchup.
My gut tells me Liddell would land a KO shot, but if I break it down then Silva has many advantages:
On the floor he could sub him (although this fight is hightly unlikely to go to the ground)
In the clinch of course (although Chucks strength and wrestling could nullify this advantage)
Point scoring.
The final advantage I mentioned is the key imo - Liddell cannot win this fight on points due to Silva's superior striking technique (both offfensive and defensive). Also, Silva has never been KO'd. I can't really decide...

silvas striking is better than chucks but chuck is the greatest counter puncher and he would catch silva!!!
that clinch shit would not work with chuck, the only person to pull that was randy and if silva treid hed get thrown away!!!
chuck has alot more power and the best takedown d in the game

Anderson Silva would have to come up in weight and even though I think he's a better striker he'd lose some strength and I thinks Chuck's chin is too good to be KOed.I see Silva getting the better of the striking and than Chuck catching him with a punch and knocking him the fuck out.

I agree Chuck is to big. The thing is Silva wouldn't go to the ground with Chuck and I don't know if Silva has a ground game, he's never subed anyone.

the weight diff may be too much
I think P4P Silva is the best striker in MMA though
