| Fedor vs Anderson.
Okay, lets pretend we take Fedor and Anderson and put them into a time machine back to the starting grounds of the UFC, when there is no weightclasses and anarchy ruled.
The present argument is, who is "pound for pound" the greatest MMA fighter on the planet and while it would be difficult for Anderson considering the weight difference, it would be a sweet fight for MMA freaks. There are pros for each champion and very few cons, so...
Who ya got?

Who ya got? | Staying at their current weights? Fedor would pummel him into oblivion.

^^ Agreed, I have Fedor winning either way, but with Fedor being a HW and Anderson being a MW, the fight becomes much easier for Fedor. If you put skill vs skill, it is a much better fight.

I'd have to go with Fedor on this one.
Fedor has all the well rounded skills to beat Silva. Silva's style coming into this fight will be a bad matchup for Fedor.
I'll give it to him, Silva punches hard, but I am sure Fedor punches just as hard.

Once Fedor gets you down he goes for the finish. I see Anderson getting taken down and getting mauled. A submission, after a scramble to get free, would be the likely end. Fedor doesn't seem to get hurt and he doesn't waste any time.
I'd still like to see it as these are two of the best in the world.

if it was skill vs skill i would take silva, i think silva would put fedor down if they were trading punches, would prob say fedor has edge on ground but im taking silva

If you buff up Silva to Fedor's size, I'd take Silva, but otherwise? No chance for this end otherwise than on Fedor's side.

I see fedor taking this fight on the feet or on the ground, he would overwhelm silva in both those situations..but it would definitely be fight of the century

and A. Silva is jus as heavy as Fedor after he had a few big-macs.
lets hope this fight happens. would be awesome if A. Silva would have the desire to face Fedor in addition to his dream of boxing RJJ.
in a perfect world this would have to happen .
