| Fedor Emelianenko vs Alistair Overeem
Alright, after Arlvoski, lets say for arguments sake, Fedor doesn't go to the UFC where he can fight Couture, Lesnar, Gonzaga, Mir etc, so who is there left to fight within Affliction or Japan?
Barnett, possibly Werdum and at the rate he's developing, Alistair Overeem!
I've been really impressed with Overeem for a very, very long time and think that his big shot should eventually arrive and given his size, intelligence and stand-up, I think he would pose a legitimate threat to lord Fedor.
So, who ya got?

Fedor struggled a bit with Rogers' size/power - and Overeem threw him around and made him look like a joke... then again I've counted out Fedor in the past and he's always come through.

I honestly think Overeem hands Fedor his first loss, and that saddens me.

I think Overeem's striking style leaves himself open to the kind of freaky, blistering hook Fedor can throw and his balance and groundgame will exploit Overeem. Alistair doesn't automatically start the fight swinging for the fences and is more articulate with his striking and I think by the time he starts to work his game, Fedor will be able to either A. KTFO out of Overeem or B. take him down and sub him.
Overeem is a fine HW and has pristine and TECHNICAL striking, but his style isn't one to keep Fedor off balance and on the run and in defense to a charge throughout the fight, which is what is surely necessary to put him out of his comfort space and I think that Fedor will time Overeem and ruin him or in the least, get rocked and sub Overeem whilst pulling guard.

I'm going with Fedor i think that Overeem will cause him some problems but i think that Fedor will still win probably by Decision

More than enough to keep Fedor from subbing him especially since he's 10 times stronger.
Fedor has more skills on the ground, but I think Overeems TDD and sub D will keep him from being subbed and he will most likely keep the fight standing.
