If I was setting up a tournament like this, here's what my first round would look like.

BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian- Florian called BJ Penn out, so why not give him what he wants? He's certainly done enough to earn a shot. I think this would make for an interesting fight and would help setup BJ Penn for the next round.

Gesias "JZ" Cavalcante vs. Joachim Hansen
- This is a chance for Gesias to avenge the only other loss he's had in his career besides the one to Aoki. Either Cavalcante would get back to his winning ways or Joachim would continue to ride his recent wave of success.

Josh Thomson vs. Karl James Noons- I think both matchup interestingly with one another and it'd make for a good fight.

Sean Sherk vs. Takanori Gomi- This is a fight that has been pondered about for quite sometime and rightfully so. The clash in styles would make this a very interesting contest.

Eddie Alvarez vs. Sergey Golyaev- This fight would serve as either a nice rebound fight for Eddie Alvarez or a coming out party for Sergey Golyaev. I'd be willing to bet the house though that this would be a nice rebound fight for Eddie Alvarez.

Gray Maynard vs. Gilbert Melendez- This fight would be a great test for both fighters and it'd be interesting to find out who would win.

Mitsuhiro Ishida vs. Shinya Aoki- Getting these two to square off would really get the interest of the japanese fans. This would be a really tough fight for Shinya Aoki, but he's been winning a lot of tough fights lately so hopefully that tradition would continue.

Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Vitor Ribeiro III- This fight would finally prove once and for all who's better.

INJURED RESERVE BOUT
Nick Diaz vs. Caol Uno- Both are very tough and could fill in for anyone who gets injured.

I would make mine differently but for yours i'll predict.

BJ Penn vs. Nick Diaz
Gesias Calvancante vs. Roger Huerta

Eddie Alverez vs. Spencer Fisher
Joachim Hansen vs. Nate Diaz

Takanori Gomi vs. Tyson Griffin
Sean Sherk vs. Clay Guida

Kenny Florian vs. Josh Thompson
Shinya Aoki vs. Yves Edwards

Penn VS Huerta
Alverez VS Nate Diaz
Griffin VS Sherk
Florian VS Aoki

Penn VS Nate Diaz
Sherk VS Florian

Penn VS Florian

I think BJ is the best LW in the world. But after his fight with GSP, I am not questioning his heart and cardio again, I thought he was passed that but I don't know. I will have to see him at LW again to see if he is the best LW in the world. I'm kind of questioning now if any LW can beat him. Before the GSP fight I thought no one can touch him at LW, but BJ really showed no heart or cardio. Someone at LW may break him to.

^^ Bring on Pettis/Henderson 2! Henderson can't run from him, or he will get kicked in the face again.

Fedor Emelianenko is the Greatest P4P MMA fighter to ever walk the earth, hands down.
