I'd like to see these two go at it. Wouldn't be a big sell but i think it could be pretty entertaining.

both guys in good shape ,I'll take Monson by Decision.Mir has the better stand up and is very skilled on the ground(one of the best guards in the game) ,but Monson is a better wrestler and I could see him pulling out a decision.It's an interestingm match up and I'd really like to see this fight.

Mir in his best shape still gasses early, but is slick as hell, moves so neatly on the ground

but Monson is a beast on the ground, where most of the fight would take place, with much more credentials in grappling.

how could monson not submit Mir?

Mir has shown cardio problems in all his fights that end before the second, and when's the last time Mir fought a guy with the submission ability of Monson? both these guys are primarily sub guys, so we'd see a clinic of submission wrestling, but i would put it to Monson, even in Mir's best shape.
