Default Shane Carwin vs Cain Velasquez

Alright this fight seems inevitable if Cain beats Herring. I think that this would be an absolute war. I give the striking advantage to Carwin and the grappling goes to Cain. I think that the winner would be the one who could best fight in the others domain. I think that Carwin couldn't hang with Cain on the ground even slightly and so I am going with Cain because I think that he could at least hold his own on his feet. All of this is dependant on Cain getting past Herring, which is no easy task. I say Cain by decision, I think that if he gets past the first round and takes Carwin into deep water then his wrestling stamina will win the day.

Cain takes it imo. He is the better striker, better wrestler, and better grappler. Only thing Carwin has on Cain is size.

Carwin with an easy TKO. Cain Velasquez hasn't even come close to fighting a hw worth mentioning. At least Gonzaga is a somebody and former #1 contender. Carwin has devastating KO power and can seemingly eat punches.

I would have to go with Carwin this fight as well for the same reasons. GG couldn't hold Carwin down and I don't think even got out of his half guard. I am unsure if a guy like Cain could do what GG couldn't do. I say this is second round tap by Cain from strikes on the ground. We shall see, this is a damn good fight!
On a side note; I would rather not see these two fight because I would rather see them brought up in the rankings seperately so as to have a couple top contenders when they are ready.

HOSS-Bork, you should spend more time brushing up on your MMA history, and less time complementing guys on how young their penises taste.

Cain via 1st round KO

his striking is really good technically, better than Carwins imo

both guys have good power, but I'm thinking it would be easier for Cain to hit Carwin than Vice-Versa

The only reason Carwin KO'd Gonzaga is because Gabe left his chin way out and stared swinging wildly, Cain is alot smarter than that...

Cain is the more well rounded fighter and has far more refined and stronger overall technique than Carwin. Gabe had Carwin in that fight and just let is slip by and got sloppy. First fighter to sees Carwin for what he is(which will probably be the next fight) will expose him for what he is, a jacked up Tank Abbott.

Cain all the way.
