best matchup yet
and my answer... Bas Rutten in his prime with a complete game vs Fedor in his prime...... I dont care if I get flamed im gonna say it, winner is: Bas Rutten.
Why do I say this? his stand-up game, he has no problems fighting at HW and he has heavy heavy hands, with a great technical stand-up game and on the ground he is versed in submissions.. the fighters that went thru WARS with Fedor were Big Nogs and Cro-cop.. Bas is like both those guys wrapped into one except he doesnt have the GREAT submission skills of Big Nogs, or the World Class Striking of Cro-cop but he does have Very Good submission skills, and GREAT stand-up with world class power behind his punches. I think if these two fought 3 times in there prime it would go Bas, Draw, Fedor to be honest.. but im gonna choose Bas anyways.
The guys he lost to in Pancrase would not of beaten him when he developed a well-rounded game (IE: In his prime) nor would they have beaten him in the UFC, Pride or any other venue.. Pancrase rules are so different I dont understand why they count on your MMA record.

I'd love to see this fight happen, but it will probably never happen. Bas is too old to face top knotch fighters. If Bas were in his prime he would win. If a cut could let Khosaka win the first fight with Fedor, I'm sure Bas could get some sorta gameplan that would get a victory.

Haha I guess we all hug Bas's Nuts because I was going to say Bas also!!!! Why Because he is Bas And I have never seen someone as flexable as bas for his size. With his strenght Flexability and Striking power I believe this would have been the fight of the ages with Bas comming out on top but Barely in the end.

Sorry I Love Bas But He Would Get Broken...
Fedor Is Too Good... If Big Nog Couldnt Subbmit Fedor Bas Cant!! If Cro Cop Couldnt Ko Fedor, Bas Cant!!!
Bas Was Great But Not On Fedors Level....no One Really Is...
Fedor Wins Via Watever He Wants!!
