| Brandon Vera vs. Ricco Rodriguez
I think an in shape Ricco would school Brandon Vera.I wish so badly that Ricco would come back to form and be picked back up by the UFC.Ricco has some amazing talent.

I agree. An in shape Ricco would beat Vera. UFC needs to bring this guy back. He would add more depth to a pathetic division.

I was pretty suprised when I found out how badly Ricco let himself go after he lost his title, and suprised again when he said he was fighting again.
But the old Ricco, if he can ever get back to that shape and form would beat Vera.

OK, this makes me laugh.
Ricco Rodriguez is the guy that lost his title to Tim Sylvia. Nearly everyone on this forum says that Sylvia is a bum and never hesitates to share how poor they think his abilities are. So, essentially, that makes Ricco a pretty poor fighter in his own right, correct?
Let it be known that I am no huge Tim Sylvia fan by ANY stretch of the imagination. I find it comical that everyone bashes the guy on a daily basis, actually.
Anyhow, Ricco would force Vera to submit at some point in the second round, I reckon. I refuse to jump on the Vera bandwagon until he beats someone with credibility.

Pedro was never champion. He lost is several title shots though.
Ricco was a great champion ,but never successfully defended ,so no where near the greatest.
Ricco and Pedro are two great fighters I'd like to see back in the UFC ,but they're not the greatest champs of all time.

I made a mistake there my fault though I still believe that Ricco and Pedro had great potential but like has been said before Pedro did not have enough heart and Ricco wgot out of shape but if they could get back into top form and pedro get some heart they would be great people to help round out the UFC's floundering heavyweight Division. Thank God for Alex Emelianenkorumored signing with the UFC about to go down..

with aa, ricco, mir, alex e. , vera, big tim, monson, and kongo the ufc hw div. just might look a little better...
