Who do you want having you back in a barfight?????

My fiancee and I were waiting for the new Terminator to start yesterday and we started talking about this Overeem barfight throwdown and we got to talking about what MMA fighter you'd want to have on your side in a barfight???

It's an interesting conversation topic, because in reality and more specifically, a bar fight, you need only certain MMA qualities to be efficient and successful and certain MMA skills would be utterly moot in the confines of a classic "barfight".

We tossed around names of fighters we think would utterly mess your foes up in a barfight and we came up with a slew of names, mostly of fierce and vicious fighters with a particular skillset, that would be amazing to utilize in a bar fight.

Who you got???

I chose AO. Unsure why though he is a rather imposing kind of dude and really seems to have an underlying penchant for brawling. My second choice would likely have been Wandy with his overlying penchant for brawling.

Fedor or Wanderlei.

Either one would likely pulverize each and every drunken maniac in a bar. With Fedor you have the icy stare of death incarnate while Wanderlei is known as 'the axe-murderer' for a reason.

I voted Fedor as the poll is about one fighter, though either one would work.

I think if I had a huge intimidating guy like Lesnar, Slice, or Carwin with me it would deter just about any bar fight, but if one actually broke out I think Wanderlei Silva, Houston Alexander, or Vitor Belfort would be best. To be different, I'd pick Houston Alexander, he pretty much mugged Keith Jardine with hardly any technical skills, was damn impressive.

I'll go for Brock Lesnar....
