Who would win a stand up match?? Wlad has some kickboxing experience and he's much bigger with a big reach advantage but could CroCop land that kick and avoid being KOed first? What do ya'll think?

This is tough cuz Wlad has a kickboxing background, I went with Wlad though

Cro-cop has been knocked out by guys with less power in there hands then Klitsch.. Michael Mcdonald TKO'd him with a right hook, Kevin Randleman knocked him out, Hoost ko'd him with a left hook to the body.. Wlad has a glass chin too

but Wlad probably throws kicks as good as Cro-cop throws punches, and Cro-cop throws kicks as good as Wlad throws punches I went with Wlad cuz Cro-cop seems more KO prone, and Wlad has a reach advantage.

I think Crocop would eventually land a LHK.I'd much rather take a punch from Wlad ,than a kick from crocop.

Wlad would certainly have a punchers chance though.

Cro Cop has improved so much more. I think he can avoid being KO'd.

Well CroCop would have to try and take it to the ground as soon as possible to have a chance. It's a death wish to stand and trade with a boxer who has been doing nothing but stand-up for 20 years. And especially one of Wlad's experience, or anyone on his level. I think Klitschko won a gold medal at the Olympics in boxing (or else it was Vitali) and MMA fighters are not able to put in the time that boxers are able to in punching and counterpunching. Boxers knock people out with much thicker padded gloves than MMA fighters use. An MMA fighter would have to take the boxer out of his comfort zone which is punching or it's only a matter of time before a KO happened. Chin aside, Wlad has the hardest hitting right hand in the heavyweight division today in boxing.

Under Pride rules I'd say CroCop, but if it was limited to standup, then who knows. It's a KO for Wlad if CroCop tried to stand and trade punches. CroCop's advantage would be in kicks obviously. A boxer is trained to avoid punches and counterpunch until it becomes instinct, and they are not trained to look for a leg flying at their head or body, or a kick to the leg. One left leg to the head and Wlad is out. A left hook off the jab and right cross from Wlad and CroCop is out.

in just a stand up fight is still really tough, i would have to give it to wlad, he has been doing this for a long time and has kickboxing skills, his reach and power is why i would have to give it to him
