Fedor vs Anderson Silva, @ HW.......

Who wins it?

At HW? Fedor... I think if Fedor was forced to cut to 205, it'd be more of an even playing field.

There have been whisperings of Silva considering HW........he looked pretty lean even at 205lbs. I bet he could get into the 230s.......

Fedor.

Anderson Silva is stunning, no doubt; but he is beatable. He can beaten and tapped, since we've seen in the past and NOTHING like that has ever happened to Fedor.

I also don't believe Anderson has ever fought a bout with a fighter THAT good or that talented, then add in the size advantage, because Anderson isn't a BIG HW and I think that's a bad day at the office for Anderson Silva.

End of day, Rd. 2 TKO Fedor.

Fedor would dominate in that match up. Striking edges to Anderson only for accuracy. Other than that, in my opinion, Fedor would dominate Silva. Fedor has the power advantage with the striking. If it goes into a clinch, Fedor will get the fight to the ground. If it hits the ground all the Bjj in the world is not going to help Silva.

Anderson may not end up being a big HW, but then again, Fedor is not a big HW either. Fedor typically fights at 235lbs. When you consider that a guy like Lesnar weighs in at 265, and probably shows up to fight at 280.....Fedor is a tiny HW. I think Anderson could end up weighing pretty close to 235lbs if he were to dedicate himself to making the move.

Yes, Silva has tapped in the past, but that was a long time ago. He has evolved immensely since then.

Anderson may not have fought anyone at Fedor's talent level, but on the flip side, Fedor has never fought anyone at Silva's talent level.

It would be one of the most interesting fights ever put together in MMA. Would love to see it.

I say at HW, Anderson is too in over his head. At LHW, I think that this would be a ridiculously intertaining fight. But Fedor loves eating too much to cut weight

I have a dispute with your comment. It's not that Fedor is a small HW, it's just that Brock is a HUGE heavyweight. Fedor is a medium sized HW, but in reality if his body didn't have as much fat he would be a small one.

I agree that Anderson could get up to that weight, however, if he did, his career as a middleweight would be done, Once adding that much muscle/weight, he wouldn't be able to make it back down to 185. And seeing as he wants to finish his career at MW, I don't see him making the effort to gain weight. If he fought heavyweight I think he would come in around the size Vera used to
