| Randy Couture vs. Tim Sylvia
Ricco Rodriguez beat Couture and Tim Sylvia beat Ricco. Of course the average person would say Sylvia wins, but that would probably not happen. Couture would be able to get past Tim's reach to take him down and (t)ko him or submit him. What do you think?

When Randy was on top of his game, he was near impossible to defeat. He'd be able to get inside Sylvia's punches and get him down with his superior wrestling and most likely pull a submission on him.

Couture alwayz lost to really good HWs. He would have gotten KTFO. he couldn't get past Tim's reach.

I think his stand up is better than all UFC HWs probably because of his reach. The man can fight inside also, that's how he KOed Arlovski. Maybe saying really good was a stretch. He can't spit shine the shoes of Pride's best HWs but I don't see a UFC fighter that can really beat him. Including Couture.

Tims got a crazy reach but Couture had an iron chin in his prime.

And he's just too big for Couture, I don't see couture keeping him down for long if he does manage to get him down. BTW, I think Monson will sub him but Monson is also much bigger than Couture. IMO I think Couture was a blown up LHW and that's why he couldn't beat the best in that division. As you see his stand up wasn't good enough for the LHW division either. He's a legend because he was in the right fight, fighting the right fighters, at the right time.

As long as Silvia has the power to KO most fighters, with that long reach it doesn't matter who who has more power or not. IMO

What do you think? | MMA isn't math so that argument doesn't work.Besides Couture dominated the first couple of rounds ,untill the size difference became too much for him and Ricco got on top of him.
