yea he landed only a few punches and threw many, fedor did a great job of moving, countering and swatting away punches.... AA was keeping fedor off balance towards the last engage right before the fight ended by being a little more aggressive which is what got him in trouble in the first place but fedor was doing just fine right before the clinch...

Fedor looked like a person who went on a crash course of learning headmovement. He didn't look good at all and every casual fan I showed the fight to said he was clearly losing before that KO.
Fedor is a better than average striker for the HW division. usually when to fighters (especially in Boxing) come out in the first round, no one lands a flush shot because both fighters are fresh. Also, the first round is a feeling out process where a fighter needs time to measure distance. The way that fight wa looking, if AA had more time, Fedor would have been KO'd IMO.
unfortunately for him, a weak chin and bad decisions did him in.

Don't forget fedor fights HWs for the most part (HWs naturally have more power than MW do) and he's been rocked only once from what I remember and he was able to recover just fine...I think your giving Silva too much credit because aside from Franklin and Hendo Silva was far and beyond the rest of his opponents as far as striking goes...if you analyze Franklins and Hendo's striking you could see that they were no match for Silva anyway...Fedor came into the AA fight seemingly disadvantaged on the feet but did well

I agree with you. Silva is leaps and bounds better than everybody in the MW division striking. Maybe with the exception of Mousasi.
Fedor didn't do well against AA except for that KO. I mean come on, he looked very sloppy. I'm not even the only one who sees that. It should be pretty obvious. The only good thing he did was barely get his head out of the way of getting knocked off.
Not saying Fedor doesn't have very godo striking for a MMArtist, just not as technically sound as Silva or AA.

AA did a good job but did not put fedor in any danger in that fight and he was able to even stand with him for that short period of time becausee he was able to use size reach to keep the distance but Silva doesn't have the same size advantages as AA and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that AA has much more power in his hands than Silva and none of the punches that he landed even phased fedor so I doubt Silva would put him away....more importantly lets not forget fedor only trained about 30 days for that fight...

Possibly, but Fedor would just take him down and sub him anyway IMO.
