| Anderson Silva vs Fedor
According to Machida, this would be on his dream UFC Brazil card.
What do you think? Does Anderson stand a chance? Obviously Matt Lindland wasn't able to do much, but I'd give Anderson more of a chance than I would most heavyweights. He will have a big speed advantage so he can probably stay off the ground. Fedor has big power in his hands but as far as i know Anderson has never been knocked out.
I don't know if I would give Silva a decent chance. But I'd damn sure like to see it happen. It would be more interesting than Fedor vs Rogers.

If Fedor strikes with him, he'll get embarrassed. I don't think he will, and when he takes Silva down, Fedor by sub.

Fedor...Easy. Silva is top 3 P4P but Fedor is on a different level than anyone will ever be IMO.

He will be the greatest ever even if he lost his next 20 fights, but that won't happen because he will get revenge on Werdum ands get that Strikeforce Heavyweight Championship and retire and prove it to everyone he is the greatest fighter ever!

Fedor is probably the hardest hitter in all of MMA. He does love the ground, but he would do fine with Anderson standing up allthough it would'nt be his goal.

A stand-up game would be fun to watch, but I think Fedor would eventually take it to the ground & then the end of Silva's life would happen. hahaha.

Nah Silva has the advantage in standup without question. Fedor has the advantage on the ground but Silva is no slouch on the ground either. A more interesting fight would be Lyoto vs Fedor imo.

He didn't show really good striking defense against Arlovki either; it was just a matter of time. Every punch Arlovski threw, left Fedor off balence, backing up, and always on the defensive. Arlovski did also land a few punches, just nothing devastating.
Anybody that wasn't a serious Fedor fan would say he was getting embarrassed before that KO IMO.
Silva is a better striker than AA on the other hand, doesn't make mistakes, and has better defense. His muscle memory, accuracy, and timing, are are seconded maybe only by Machida.
Silva doesn't get hit, Fedor's been hit on a few of occasions and has been rocked before. Not to mention Fedor is a little sloppy with his standup. He just has serious power.
Silva would make him look worse than AA IMO until it gets to the ground.
