Wanderlei Silva would NEVER lose to Vitor Belfort......ah crap.....well again at least.

Right now, with their present size and skillsets at say a catchweight of about 195 or MW, Wand's got the superior furocity and mental skillset to go along with an overpowering muay thai clinch, I think he's still got enough to bully Vitor around, seeing as how Wand's weaknesses have always been grapplers and distance fighters, neither of which would play into Vitor's forward moving striking.

Today I think Belfort.

Belfort would never lose to Wandy, his boxing is too good.

man it pains me to say this but in all seriousness keep vitor away from wand at 185 or 195 wands chin and recovery is not the same as it was once upon at time.

And not to use MMA math here but seriously, all you have to do is look at the Franklin vs Wand fight vs the Vitor vs Wand fight. That shows the big difference in skill.

Wandy is the third greatest fighter in the history of the sport IMO and wouldn't lose to Belfort at both of their bests and right now as well. Sure.....Belfort beat Wandy in Wandy's 7th career fight, big whoop. Wandy would win, no doubt in my mind if they ever fought again.

I'd have to go with Wanderlei imply because I love him. Vitor's boxing is crsp, but if he gets in that clinch, game over.

Vitor has always been the anti-wandy. Because he has faster hands and probably the only guy in MMA with faster hands to be honest. Vitor's crisp boxing will always negate Wandy's stand-up style which is very violent and very crazy. It would be a lot like the first fight every single time, Wandy would rush in looking for the kill and Vitor would throw his hands right down the middle and knock him out.

Vitor does not lose stand-up battles, his weakness has always been tough wrestlers (Couture, Oritz, Hendo). Wandy is not a tough wrestler and his style is almost perfect for Belfort.
