i would love to see toney fight anderson more than anyone else. every1 knows that toney would get taken down, pounded out, or submitted by just about anyone. but when people say(including toney) that nobody in mma can stand with him. They will find out what happens to a boxer fighting a muay thai fighter. he would light him up with kicks and hopefully knee him worse than he did to franklin. id love to see that loud mouthed toney get knocked out cold. It's a shame that all the great michigan boxers have to be pricks.

He's got more tools, speed and has boxed before. Silva is even willing to do a boxing match with RJJ. James Toney is old and without a doubt washed up. I highly disagree. Toney wouldn't be able to catch Anderson at this point in his career and Anderson wouldn't abandon muay thai so he could try and outbox Toney, he would light him up with knees and clinch striking until Toney went to sleep.

If this was a straight striking fight, Tooney wins. We are all in awe when Silva destroys MMA fighter after MMA fighter with his stand-up. Toney is washed up as a boxer, he is nowhere near as quick and as technical as he used to be back in his day, so to say that Anderson would get picked apart by Toney is absolutely atrocious and beyond dystopia. Strategy- This belongs to the boxer becuase they have superior knowledge in the boxing ring with this attribute, which is the imperative skill which boxers could own any mma fighter who doesnt know what to do inside the ring, they can have everything besides strategy. But more so there would be less mma fighters with these abilities than boxers.
