|  Shogun vs. Big Nog
I think this would be a great fight. Nog's never been KO'd and has only ever lost by decision and really other then for a few fights, is practically undefeated except for when fighting the top 2 Heavy's in the world.
Shogun is a KO artist and was only ever submitted once against Babalu over 3 years ago.
Who takes it?

Big Nog Wins, I Think He Can Box With Shogun For A While, Lil Nogs Boxing Might Be A Little Better But Not Much Big Nog Can Hang. And I Think From The Experiance Big Nog Might Be Able To Pull Off A Subb. It Would Be A Great Fight..

lil nog has better boxing, and took Shogun to a close decision.
but Shogun still won.
Nog's cardio can keep up with anyone, but Shogun took his brother to the limit, and i would argue that Lil Nog is better at the areas necessary (boxing) to beat Shogun then his brother.
Shogun can control the standup with better Thai, hits just as hard, and has better wrestling.
Nog has better boxing, and better BJJ

Nog doesn't need better boxing skills, his chin covers for it.
Nog can beat Shogun.

being able to take shots doesnt make you the winner. if so, Hunt and Cabbage would be number 1 and 2
Nog has heart, chin and cardio, but i dont see any part of his game that can beat Shogun outside of his BJJ, and Shogun has better wrestling, and isnt going to take it down because he knows his standup can control Big Nog

shogun is probably the best lhw out there and is better rounded then big nog, but nog could just stand with him just like he did cro cop, not making an offence but just getting time to get a takedown and as good as shogun is on the ground nog would sub him. but for there devision shogun is better.

I agree that Lil Nog, being the South American HW boxing champion right now and boxing in the 08 olympics (as long as his Pride schedule does not conflict) has better boxing than Big Nog but Bog Nog still has world class boxing so I am not certain Shogun would outstrike him.
Lil Nog really picked SHogun apart for 3 rounds and only lost do to the takedowns, again Lil Nog is the better boxer but Big Nog's boxing is not far off from Lil Nogs.
Shogun woulod not be able to submitt Nog or KO him so that gives Nog 3 rounds to land strikes and get 1 single takedown, that is all it would take IMO.

noguiera can just box. and while Noguiera can use it to exploit holes and land solid strikes, he wont KO Shogun, and his wrestling isnt good enough to take shogun down repeatedly like Shogun did to his brother.
so in short, this fight would be fireworks, its just that i think that Shogun has what it takes to get the decision.
