If i were to put money on it id take thiago just to many upsides to his game, the chin to me is kinda big...The shot machida put thiago out with was meh i loved it but mehhhh,if rampage connects with thiago's chin i think its lights out and with both theese guys being bangers i see it very likly

I think that if this bout were to go down in the "not too distant future", Thiago Silva takes this fight on the sole basis of his ferocity, committment and present-day skillset, for I think he just throws too much 'Page's way and I'm not too sure Rampage could handle it at the moment....HOWEVER, if this fight were to occur as the third or so fight after Rampage has returned and appeared in passionate and invested form, it's an entirely different story.

Rampage is more explosive, Better chin and better hands. Those are basically three factors that matter ALOT due to the likeliness of it being primarily a standup war. I say that because Rampage probably has as good or better of wrestling meaning neither should have a clear advantage in takedowns.

I would give the edge to 'page in 1 punch stopping power. I mean, the man did end chuck's life, essentially. However, I think Thiago does a LOT more damage with his fists. I cant remember the last time 'page left someone lookin like brandon vera looked after silva was done with him.

EDIT: as for the comment about the pride era rampage winning with ease, I think we all remember what happened to pride-era 'page when he fought a certain Chute Boxe Academy fighter.. heh

Page takes this fight 9/10 times. He has better wrestling, better striking technique, better power and a much better chin.

Horrible matchup for Silva and I can't wait to see him get KTFO.
