| Thiago Silva vs Rampage Jackson
This is a very interesting matchup for me and id love to see it, I think Thiago has more speed and better bjj, but I believe Rampage has better wrestling and more power with maybe a better chin...both gas tanks seem about the same so who do you guys think takes this? No certain winner comes to mind for me.

I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

I think Thiago takes it but it would be a lot of fun to watch. As far as power goes I actually think Thiago has at equal power to Rampage, maybe more. Rampage could not put Jardine away and Thiago did it with relative ease. Thiago also did a lot better against Evans then Rampage did. Thiago outstruck Evans 3-1, whereas Rampage was outstruck by by nearly the same 3-1 margin. I think speed would be the difference and Thiago wins a barn bunrner of a brawl.

This fight would be awesome - I take Silva, though if Rampage mixed it up a bit for once and actually using his wrestling he could win

Rampage does everything Thiago Silva does slightly better and has a huge power advantage.

In his last 7 wins he has won three by KO. In Thiago Silva's last 7 wins he has won 7 by KO or TKO. Actually out of Thiago's 14 wins he has only gone the distance once and that was four years ago. Rampage could not KO Jardine, Thiago did it without even breaking a sweat. Does Rampage have a lot of power, yea he does. But Thiago has at least equal power maybe even a slight advantage.

Rampage have power advantage no doubts...

I am pretty sure Thiago could KO just about anyone Rampage has KOed.
They have only faced two similar fighters, Jardine and Evans. Thiago did a lot better against both of them. Heck Thiago had a pretty bad back injury and still almost pulled out the win against Evans (Fightmetric scored the fight a draw). I am not saying Rampage does not have power, but its not like he has so much more power then Thiago. Thiago has ended 92% of his wins by KO so come on the guy has pretty good power in his own right. Rampage on the other hand has won 66% of his bouts by KO. So there is not some huge power advantage for Rampage.
Thiago is just better at this stage in his career then Rampage. If they fought Thiago would show it too. I hope this fight happens because it would be a great stand-up war between two guys with amazing power.
