anderson silva by utter destruction. sonnen is imo possibly the best wrestler in mma and if not is damn close. randy is no where near chael in the wrestling departement. randy will be forced to stand and his specialty, the clinch, wont work at all vs silva.

Randy takes people down a lot differently then Sonnen does. Randy likes to tie guys up and trip them to the ground while Sonnen just explodes with a double leg right thru them. I think Randy would do well against Silva but his style of taking people down is much harder for against a guy like Silva then Sonnen's style. Eventually Randy would get caught looking for the clinch and get TKO'd.

However, we have all learned over the years to never ever count Randy out against anyone.

Anderson by ko, randy never had the shot that sonnen has, and in his prime he was a top notch greco wrestler in mma, but he needs to get real close and his standup is very subpar and he would get ko'ed by silva, he had problems with chuck and anderson would clown him.

Im gonna go out on a limb here and say anderson by tko via cut stoppage. I think randy catches a bad elbow or knee coming in for his clinch/dirty boxing/takedown work.
