| Frank Mir VS Rashad Evans
at HW.
Since Rashad started his career out at heavyweight, I don't think he'd have much trouble putting on a few pounds, and Mir is already a pretty light HW who could probably even cut down a little more.
The fight just popped in my head and I was wondering what you'd think about it.
If Rashad was still the champ, this fight may hold more appeal to some people.

Rashad only fought at HW so he could be on TUF, he was a really fat HW. I think that Rashad could make it down as far as 195 for catchweight fights, so in other words this fight would be totally pointless.

He normally fights around 240, which he is back at now I think, and could definitely cut more weight, while Rashad can definitely put on weight as well. Quote:

I just don't see mir being able to take evans down and he won't be able to outstrike him

they both have glass jaws so which ever one lands the first decent punch. I would say Mir cause he's taller and unless Rashad has arangatang arms Mir should have a reach advantage and his striking has looked pretty good lately. Also Rashad didn't really have much for k.o power at heavy weight but that may have changed with his technique improving tho

I don't see Rashad being able to finish Mir and Rashad is too undersized to lay on Mir for 3 rounds.
