Default Hayato Sakurai vs. GSP

I Just think this has the makings of a great standup fight. I would go with GSP but Sakurai could knock him out with a crazy punch or spin kick.

We saw how Hughes was able to keep him down and over power him ,I think GSP would do the same thing and win by first round TKO from ground and pound.GSP is the number 2 pound for pound fighter in the world in my opinion.

Default GSP would win

GSP is an excellent grappler or on the ground fighter. He uses his strength & leverage to dominate. He can gnp with the best of the MMA. I think he has alot of ways to win, if he faced a better stand up fighter. (I don't know if there's a fighter at 170 lbs with better standup than him)

i would give sakurai the edge when comparing submission games

but Hughes outwrestled him and outpowered him, and still utilized GnP

GSP can do that, as well as hang in the striking, although Sakurai is a game standup fighter with good leg kicks and good hands.

all in all though, GSP is the much bigger fighter here

Hughes didn't have a whole lot of trouble with him, except for a few moments where he caught him with some good shots standing.

I think GSP would do a good job of controlling him and getting a TKO stoppage or UD.

gsp is going to dominate for a while, he is a big ww, and i will say he is in the top 5 pfp fighters in the world probally 2 if not 3rd depending on how you look at it, i would love to see him step up to mw in about 2 years if he keeps winning, im not saying to stay at mw i would just love to see how he stands in mw
