Wouldnt saying "if sheilds can get hendo down almost at will, Sonnen definitely will" be the better statement.

Sonnen has better takedowns, but is not even close to being as good at advancing as shields....

Sonnen would Maul Hendo.....do some of you guys really give Hendo any sort of chance against a great freestyle wrestler like Chael? If Sheilds could take Hendo down at will with his telegraphed takedowns, then Chael's explosive takedowns would blow right through Hendo.

Hendo would only have a punchers chance at best.

I think Hendo was taken down so easily against Sheilds because he was drained and didn't handle the weight cut well. I think age has finally become a major factor for Hendo getting down to 185. As of right now, Chael would take down and control Dan en route to a unanimous decision. The Henderson of five years ago would be a completely different story.
