prime ken was a beast
faster then Tito, stronger then Tito, and better submission skills then Tito, and good wrestling with a strong, fast, shoot.
shamrock by kneebar

Shamrock in his prime was also a weight class above Tito, and had insane takedown defense.

I think the sport has evolved enough that Tito would still be victorious. Ken is still a legend though.

Ken would break titos leg soo hard it wouldnt even be funny...well kinda funny
ken in his prime was bigger, stronger, faster and better skilled in subbs than prime tito, ken had amazing fast shoots and would break titos leg with the meanest kneebar ever placed on someone...
ken by kneebar or ankle lock round 1

Seriously, what's with the "sport has evolved" crap? Yeah, the sport has involved in so much as now, a fighter has to be much more rounded. Back when UFC and Pancrase started out, you could do well with one field of expertise. THAT is how it has evolved. A top sub guy today isn't neccessarily better at subs than Ken or Royce, but he may be more skilled in other areas than Ken and Royce were.
Since the real way the sport has evolved is in fighters being less one-dimensional, the "sport has evolved" argument doesn't really work for Tito. He's even MORE one-dimensional than Ken was. Tito has wrestling, ground 'n pound, strength, and cardio. Ken in his prime had subs, a strong sprawl, strength, speed, and good striking power.
I see this fight going like Ken/Severn 1 or Ken/Fujita, except Tito wouldn't last through the punishement that Fujita took.
