After JDS takes out overeem and Jones takes out Evans, who could be next for them? This is the biggest fight possible in mma right now. Not GSP-Silva.

Jones would actually be taller and have the reach advantage but I dont see him being able the throw JDS around with ease like he has done to a lot of his LHW opponents. but it is also hard to imagine Jones getting lit up standing.

These guys could be the 2 best fighters on the planets, if were talking more literal and dont consider p4p.

JDS would absolutely destroy jon jones. jones going up to HW wouldnt have the speed advantage he does at 205. JDS destroyed a good wrestler in Cain, i think it would be the same but it would take a little longer cause i think jones' chin is better than cain's. the only thing jones has over JDS is his unorthodox way of doin things and i dont think JDS would be dumb enough to just run in there and exchange. i see JDS dink and dunkin his punches on jones and finishing him late in the 2nd or early in the 3rd.

Jon Jones obviously has a lot of talent, but a big part of his success at LHW is his enormous size advantage over the other fighters. Against JDS this would be mitigated. He would still retain a reach advantage but not as drastic as it is over the smaller LHWs.

No one has had success grappling and taking down JDS, forcing everyone to stand up with him. Jones wouldn't be able to just toss JDS around and JDS striking > Jones striking. People point to how dominant Jones has been but look at JDS, his record is basically the same and he's had no problems with any fighter either.

For me this is a no brainer and if it ever happened I'd say JDS wins it 9 out of 10 times.
