And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

Im sure we will see this sooner or later. That being said, I have no idea how good Silva is off his back, but his TDD looked pretty good against Charlie last fight so ima go with Silva.

I would take Silva. He is just loaded with talent. He knows he is in a divison with alot of strong wrestler and he trains with some of the best guys in the world so I'm sure he's working hard on his takedown D and overall grappling, and he easily beat a pretty good wrestler in his last fight. I know Rory trains with some of the best in the world also, but to me, Silva just seems like a special fighter...I guess you could say it's a toss up but I'd go with Silva.

It would be very interesting. It would all depend on if Erick could stop Rory's takedowns. Charlie is clearly a more accomplished wrestler, but Rory is very good at transitions and has that quick initial burst in his takedowns....
Rory has good standup, but it is far overrated at times. He was getting caught by Mills and got stopped by Condit. He'll he didnt want to stand with Nate.
Erick would merk him standing.

man oh man, tight match up, IMO these two are the future of the division, and are way ahead of a guy (as an example) like Jonny Hendricks
I want to say Rory, but I think I might give the edge to Silva, especially if Rory has any trouble getting it to the ground

Hendricks is a 2 time NCAA divison 1 champion (almost 3 time), and has displayed better stand up skills imo than Rory. He has also beaten much higher quality opponents. Rory got rocked hard by Mike Guymon and got put on queer street by Condit from a punch that didn't seem all that hard. You can't teach chin, which Hendricks certainly has as he displayed in the Koscheck fight.

Hendricks definitely has a sick chin, and serious power, but I think if he is in there with striker better than Fitch/Kos/Pierce etc, he gets tapped up
I think in comparison to Silva/MacDonald, Hendricks won't evolve to be much more than where he is today. Yes he has a better resume of wins at the moment, but I think Hendrick's ceiling is much lower than both Rory and Silva. I think they have a much more of a possible upside to their careers.
I'm not taking anything away from Hendricks, he is just not as impressive in my eyes as I guess his ranking should make him. I think in 2 years both Silva and Rory will be in title contention, while Hendricks will be far behind

great fight and I'm not sure who would win. I don't feel like I have seen enough of Silva so I'll take Rory at the moment.
