if AA sucks on the ground, then of course it will affect the outcome
it means he will not just get beaten on points and position and shit, he will get subbed. if AA comes in, game to grapple, than he will not get subbed, and could survive on the ground and get back up, where he controls the standup

thats like saying when someone fights Cro Cop that isn't a striker, "i know CC will finish him standing, so lets just talk about his chance to win on the ground"

werdum is one of the greatest mma bjj experts as said so by nog, but if aa has trained his takedown d well and has trained well on positioning and getting back to his feet i think he'l pull out the ko...

IMO, AA's perfomance against Cruz wasn't that bad if you consider the grappling skill Cruz showed against Frank Mir and Jeff Monson. I think he has a good ground game, though obviously not on the same level as Werdum.

We dont really know how good AA really is on the ground. He has never fought someone like Werdum. AA is a smart guy and im sure he is training on what he needs to do to beat Werdum. That being said if AA can keep it standing for the first round he will beat on Werdum and wear him down badly. So if AA is good enough not to get subed he will beat Werdum and i hope he does. Beating werdum would make help AA out alot, show alot of people that have doubts in aa that he is really the real deal. AA takes this by tko
