| SHAQ circa 1999 vs. TIM SYLVIA circa 2006
shaq was a dominant athlete in his early runs to the title. his size and abilities are more than a match for anyone in the nba. but what would happen if he fought an athlete of similar size and speed? lets assume shaq has some basic training in mma instead of the shaq-fu shit he jokes about having. i think he'd seriously give any heavyweight a difficult time with his reach and strength. i don't think conditioning would be a factor either. the guy is running for at least 30 minutes a game, 84 games a year plus training. he would've been a monster in the mma world.
anyways, he'd probably get ko'ed by sylvia, but i'm willing to bet a guy like shaq wouldn't just stand around and trade punches with him for 15 minutes. i'd see him trying to shoot or throw some front kicks and have a crazy ass thai clinch. i think both of these guys would be tough to knock out. this is all just hypothetical though.

Chuck Norris by death kick.
Since this is in the dream match. Seeing Shaq is a bigger faster guy who if im not mistaken actaul trained in boxing or something. Shaq would pull a tim and jab him to death.
Sorry i just hate tim and i want shaq to win
its a dream match, which means i can dream lol

Tim and Shaq are alot similar if you think about it. People say they suck becuase of there size but there are bigger fighters/players out there who arent as good. Granted take away either of there size and they are no where near pro

Shaq is nothing like Tim Sylvia. | Even though Olajuwon absolutely murdered him more often than not. He did well against the others though.

First of all, Tim doesn't have an athletic build, he's slow, and very flat footed. Shack, is a natural athlete, one of the greatest centers ever, and the reason the Lakers and Heat won championships.
If Shack was trained in MMA at the same level of Tim, Shack would beat the shit out of him. Shack is naturally the biggest athlete alive and he's very fast and limber for his size, not to mention he used to do ballet. Basketball is one of the hardest sports in the world as far as cardio and skillz (don't let his beer gut fool you)
BTW, Shack is 7'0 300lbs of mostly muscle, you do the math.
