| Wandy Versus Sokodjou?
I've been watching the African Assassin , And trying to see what he's all about. Unfortunately I've not got to study him very little as he has ktfo'd his last two opponents, Quickly! I've seen two different reports of a possible upcoming bout Versus Wanderlei Silva! Does anybody have any info on this? I hope it's true, Silva is by far my favorite fighter, I'd love to see this fight! Anyone else interested?

I dont think Wandy has much to gain by agreeing to this fight, if he beats him convincingly people will say Soko got lucky in his other fights, if he gets beat hes just another big name to add to Sokos list.

I disagree. I think if Wandy takes the fight, and wins, he gets some cred back. That is especially true if he comes out and crushes Soku easily the way he beat Rampage. If he loses he will not only be another name on Soko's list but may have to reconsider his career. He may never get out of that slump.

I don't really like this idea. As much as I hate Wandy, and want to see Soko put him to sleep this just doesn't make sense to me. Why should Soko have to fight three Top 5 fighters in his first three Pride fights? I don't know any other fighter who has started off on such a tough path. I think Soko has earned the right to be a favorite in his next couple fights.

Also Fedor had to fight Semmy schilt, Heath Herring and Big Nog in his first 3 fights and they were all considered good or dangerous at that time (he was also the champion after 3 fights)

I would like to see Soku fight someone like Rashad, Kazuhiro Nakamura, Tito or maybe even Jason Lamdert.

I know they've given fighters some tough roads (Sakuraba is the one I always point out) but now that they're under new management I don't think this'll happen as much. I just wanna see how Soko fights when he's the one that's supposed to win, there's a lot more pressure and a totally different environment for the favored fighter. I say let Soko fight twice where he's the favorite, and then give him a shot at the belt (if Hendo doesn't have it).
Edit: Fedor was 26 when he started in Pride as well, Soko is 22.
