The phenom againts The rampage at 205...Who would win?
It could be either way, but i will choose vitor.

Lets see im assuming this is Vitor in his prime
Vitor had pretty good BJJ, power in both hands, speed in both hands, but he wasnt a technically skilled striker more of a swing for the fences kind of striker. Always came in great physical shape.
Rampage is a much better wrestler, more raw power, better technical striker with better defense, knockout power and good speed.
I'd give it to Rampage cuz I dont think Vitor will sub him or knock him out, Vitor was a hands striker and Rampage only really struggles with knees. It wouldnt be hard for Rampage to duck under Vitors head shots and take him down, and win the fight from there.
If fighters threw more body shots it would probably be harder for them to get taken down, but guys like Vitor started the head hunting fad.

Hey Warchief whassup man. check it out dude.
Vitor's Failures have come against great wrestlers or great strikers. Rampage is both. he knocked out chuck beat Randleman around the ring and stood with Wandy until he started raining knees. Rampage would ruin Vitor and trust as much as im a rampage fan im also one of Vitor's last remaining fans who believe his best ays are ahead of him. But if Rampage is ahead of him it's a bad moon rising.

but i also believe rampage would beat vitor...

I believe Vitor could rock rampage or sub him. Vitor's chin is too strong for Quinton too knock him out.

yeah i agree vitor has a tough chin, he took a right from chuck that landed good and he didnt sleep, he got put on his ass but didnt sleep...
but imo rampage would take it to the ground, were with some gnp vitor would become sluggish and losse all motivation to fight, vitor has good bjj but whenever on his back rarely does anything with it...he didnt even try to subb randy the times the fought and randy had him on his back the whole time...
vitor would be taken down and pounded out hard...

Randy is one of the best at GnP and in their third fight, Vitor almost caught him in an armbar twice. Randy even said it in a post fight interview. Vitor could sweep Rampage and take mount or get a choke. Vitor is becoming a really good wrestler as he is training on it extensively.

It's true that he's hot and cold, but I still stick to my opinion that Vitor would win. Belfort should have sessions with a sports psychologist.
