| Quinton jackson vs Frank shamrock (at 205)
If this match happen 4 or 5 years ago...where frank still on his prime and facing the rampage, who do you think would win?
By experience...i will choose frank, by sub.

I don't think Frank could do much to Quinton with the size/power difference and the fact that rampage's cardio is insane.. he'd just keep getting slammed and imo rampage outstrikes frank on their feet.

Ortiz is 1d, no striking, all he has is gnp and he couldn't put a much smaller frank away.. Rampage can beat frank standing and power through any submission he would put on him..

i don't remember frank fighting anytime above 200. i think he weighed 198 against ortiz. anyway, call me crazy, but a younger frank would have a chance at beating ANYBODY imo.

to add on top of my previous post, if frank hadn't missed all these years and would have kept an active fighting career, i still believe he'd reign above anybody at his weight division.

I say Rampage by decision. I don't think Frank will sub him, Rampage stays busy while on top, and I think that would prevent Frank from getting an arm or being able to finish him from the bottom
Rampage's boxing is very good, good head movement, accurate punches. Frank's no slouch on the feet either but ever since his last fight against Bas he hasn't really fought anybody with great striking. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Rampage by decision.

Wait, I think Rampage wins but to say Rampage could power through ANY sub is just disrespectful to Frank. Frank is one of the best sub guys in the business and used a lot of leg locks. It would be a tough battle.

4-5 years ago before Rampage really came up in Pride, i would give it to Shamrock
he was effective, he was still on the cutting edge, and he didnt have ring rust, while Rampage was still inexperienced
2-3 years ago to present day, while Frank has been fighting Brian Pardoe and Renzo and Cesar Gracie, Rampage was fighting Wanderlei and Chuck. Rampage would keep it standing and pound him out, and on the ground, he could power out of most subs and slam him into next week
