I say GSP, but it doesn't really matter what the hell we say because as we've seen, anything can happen. GSP does seem to learn from every fight though.
Dream match section?

I think style wise, Serra is a bad matchup for GSP. Serra hits harder and has excellent defense on his feet and on the ground. When GSP fought Sherk, he knew that when Sherk engaged he would try and punch to set up the take down. When GSP fights Serra, he has to avoid being rocked in the face like he was during the first fight. And then he has to worry about being taken down if he connects with Serra first.
That being said, it doesn't mean Serra wins though. Serra came out on fire and GSP was lukewarm. GSP wasn't able to find his range before getting rocked. If GSP is able to find his range quickly and use that against Serra all while avoiding the big bombs, GSP would come out the winner.
If these guys fought 10 times, I give 5 to each fighter. I know a lot of people are going to get my rep into the negatives for saying that, but I just believe that Serra has improved by leaps and bounds over the past few years. He is a legit dude, not a one fight wonder.
Next fight, GSP wins via decision.

I agree, Serra also hasnt fought too many bums and some of his decision losses are questionable.I think he just got lost in the mix after that Parysian fight and TUF gave him a shot to redeem himself

i dont think so, serra's only threat to gsp is on the ground, serra has very good jj, better than gsp's, but serra has to get him there first, gsp has proven that he's hard to takedown, check the hughes fight. all things considered, gsp should end their next fight standing, in pretty much the same fashion that done him in .

The problem with GSP is that he always leaves his chin wide open for shots. Its just he never felt threatened by it until BJ Penn and finally when he fought Serra he got tagged for it. The problem is, the more you protect your chin, the more you leave yourself wide open for a takedown.
But I think GSP would take him in the rematch, but it would be a very close fight.

I still think that Serra got really lucky and that is the reason why he won. I actually think that we will not even see this fight for a really long time. Hughes is going to be champ again and Georges will have to go through him to get the belt back. Then maybe after that will the rematch happen.
GSP has been disappointing me lately with his comments about the fight. So much that even momentarily considered changing my pic of him. But then I thoutht that he still was a great fighter, so I wouldn't. What I have noticed is that GSP seems immature and that is where all these excuses are comming from. Matt Serra is funny and personable and in any other fight I would be rooting for him to win. But not this one.
Serra's standup is improved, but previously it was horrible, so anything is better than that. And still not at the level of GSP. Like everyone already said, it is very unlikely that GSP would let him take him down.
