IMO Monson is one of the most underrated HWs and Vera is one of the most Overrated. Monson is a legit top 10 HW while Vera still has some question marks. I think the fight would be very exicting, but once it went to the ground I think Monson takes this ala north south postion choke out.

i would say Vera, but its hard to say. Monson is hard to put away, and if Vera doesnt keep sharp and keep the pace nice and fast, Monson could just bulldoze him and put him on his back.

Vera is quick and has good game pretty much all around, so i think he can win, as long as his cardio is good enough to keep pushing the pace and not slow down and let Monson catch up to him

i think vera has good muay thai skills that might be hard for monson to deal with and could be koed...

but if monson gets it to the ground quick vera could be in trouble...

i picked vera in the poll but the more i think about it monson could take this...

I cant see Monson as a top ten HW,he fought like a conservative girl with Silvia,I mean he could have thrown all the shit out and just charged Silvia like a bull throwing wild in the last few seconds,tried something I mean HW title shot. Ralph Machio pulled out more stops than Monson,so I dont see Monson beating any body with reach cuz he proved he is scared of the hands to me at least and nothing will sway me cept for a standout performance from him
