its def two diff. eras, but rickson in his prime i think would destroy hughes

WAR SAKU!! GET RICKSON TO FIGHT YOU!!

Oh man would I love to see this fight for two reasons:
1. Hughes would not think Rickson has a chance against him.
2. I think Rickson would win.
Rickson is one of my favourite fighters and I think he would sub Hughes for sure. I'll repeat what has already been said in this thread, Rickson is a far superior fighter than Royce. He's better than Renzo, Royler, Ryan all of them. All the Gracies, say he is the strongest of the family. I know they were trying to get him back to fight Bas Rutten but the guy is like 46 now. Too bad

Rickson in his prime? easily Rickson, he isnt like Royce or the other gracies, he has a gold medal in Sambo as well as amazing BJJ. On top of the size advantage he holds against Hughes.

I don't even think Matt Hughes could beat Royce a second time. No way he's beating Rickson.

Hughes would try to wrestle him down and Rickson would almost give it to him. he rould reverse everything matt threw at him andf then slap on a hefty rear naked choke or an armbar. hughes got lucky with Royce if Royce had been in his prime he would have cominated hughes IMO. Me and Hustla agree again (2007 is bizarro world) Rickson berats Hughes 10/10 I even will go as afar as to say Renzo would probably beat hughes

I believe Rickson in his prime wins this, that guy fought some good matches man, i dont like when people compare him to Royce or the other Gracies as he always looked much better than them imo, especially his striking on the ground which was actually good, and if you know Royce this isnt a trait they share, he also has more of a killer instinct on the ground and more of a determination to correct himself when being thrown/mounted etc.
