    the poll options are ridiculous. It's an issue simply because the rules were changed...it doesn't matter if it was changed by a single milligram. and of course, people are hating because Diaz did that. Same way they were "hating" when BJ Penn accused him of greasing which he absolutely did.

    While I'm not sure about Hall or Gastelum, that's not an argument for disregarding integrity in favor of making money.

    that's an argument for fighting rematches.

    The question still is the same though despite this answer. Why do think the rule was bent for him?

    It is a concern how much fuckery was going on with the Commission, but it was not GSP's fault that he is a huge Quebec superstar and they bent the rules for him.

    I would argue that the Kings were the best team at the time. If they weren't, why didn't a better team beat them?

    2 parts and im not trying to flame you with this comment;

    You begin by saying that you watch sports to see the best compete against the best.

    Now let me use the NHL as a quick example, last year the LA Kings won the Stanley Cup after making the playoffs on the last day of the regular season and being the first ever 8 seed to win it all. By no means were they the best team in the playoffs, but they won and it made for a great story during the playoffs.

    Now if the browns made the wild card and somehow managed to make it to the superbowl would it be less exciting to you because team #1 isnt playing team #2 in terms of ranks? Becuase i love seeing the underdog story. The team that everyone writes off week after week, game after game, or fight after fight. You wouldnt want to watch Michael Phelps upset at the olympics by some long shot out of some small country? It would be awesome for the sport and for sports in the media as well.

    I guess what i am trying to say is that its not always the bet guy vs the next best guy or the best team vs the second best team and THATS why i love sports. Because on any given sunday, or any given fight you never know what can or will happen.

    And then the way you ended it, wouldnt you enjoy watching UFC over Bellator becuase you like to see the best take on the best? Bellator is a great product, with great fights but with the exception of a few names its no where close to being the best taking on the best. Its a bunch of guys who are not making millions of dollars who are going out there and trying to make a name for themselves. Its just like College football or Basketball, kids who arent making millions who go out there and lay it all on the line night after night - which in turn creates a great product.
